Caroline D. Kadrlik, 78, formerly of Auburndale and sister of a Stevens Point woman, was found Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, by a canine search team after becoming disoriented while berry picking with her family near Republic, Mich., on Sept. 9, 2004.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Auburndale, with the Rev. Michael Schelble presiding. Burial will be at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Milladore.

Visitation will be at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home in Marshfield from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the services. There will be a parish prayer service at the funeral home at 5 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Kadrlik was born July 7, 1926, in Milladore, a daughter of the late John and Rosalia (Linzmaier) Bayerl.

She was married to August T. Kadrlik on Sept. 4, 1945, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Blenker. He died Jan. 3, 1986.

Survivors include four sons, Edward (Roberta), Milladore, Louis, Arpin, Albert (Francine), Spencer, and Francis (Linda), Juneau, Alaska; three daughters, Carol (Pat) Baumann, Republic, Mich., Margaret (Jeffrey) Pichler, Marshfield, and Theresa (Vince) Johnson, Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Agnes Fuehrer and Martha Kundinger, both of Marshfield, and Margaret Bigalke, Stevens Point; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Daniel C. Gilmiester, 71, passed away at his residence in Milwaukee on Tuesday, July 1, 2003.

Daniel was born in the Portage County town of New Hope on July 11, 1931, to the late Joseph and Helen (Grywacz) Gilmiester. He attended elementary school in that area and some years after that he came to Milwaukee. On Aug. 17, 1957, he was married to Marilyn Erbach. Loving husband of Marilyn, he also was the loving father of Deborah (Larry) Mason and Bonnie Gilmiester. Brother-in-law of William (Julie) Erbach and Ray Jakubek. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 3, 2003, at the HARDER FUNERAL HOME, 18700 W. CAPITOL DRIVE, BROOKFIELD, WISCONSIN 53045. The Rev. Norman A. Timmermann officiating. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Daniel was a member of The Lutheran Church of The Prince of Peace in Menomonee Falls. He was employed for many years at Milwaukee Forge. Memorials to The Lutheran Church of The Prince of Peace, W156 N7149 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, are appreciated.
