A mass in honor of the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Aleas Simonis, Town of Alban, was celebrated last Saturday morning at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, Rosholt, the church in which they were married 50 years ago.

The attendants were Mrs. Kathrin Piechinske and Mrs. Verona Windorf. The Simonises' oldest great-grandchild, Debra Wanta, preceded the couple to the altar. She wore a gold brocaded dress and carried yellow mums.
The eight children and their spouses are: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kosobucke, Joe Simonis and Mrs. and Mrs. Bill Simonis, Rosholt; Mrs. Evelyn Richter, Wittenberg; Mr. and Mrs. Don Sullivan, Roselle, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Simonis, Columbia, Tenn.; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Zeitlow, Iola; and Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Simonis, Milwaukee. ...

Relatives and friends attended from Iowa, McHenry, Ill, Wausau, Tennessee, Roselle and Chicago, Ill, Mosinee, Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, Galloway, Polonia, Rosholt, Milwaukee, Tomahawk, Neenah, Kewaskum, Menasha, Big Falls, Iola, and River Falls.
